Our Team: Fred W. Doneit, MUP

Mr. Doneit is a Principal Planner and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist with the Turner Miller Group. Mr. Doneit has more than 11 years of professional planning and GIS experience and holds a Bachelors Degree in Land Use Planning/Environmental Science from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry and a Masters of Urban Planning from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Mr. Doneit is responsible for a range of municipal and private assignments including preparation of master plans, the drafting and review of zoning amendments, SEQRA documents, and other focused planning studies analyzing various land use, zoning, environmental, fiscal/economic and community development issues and conditions. He is experienced in assisting communities in the development of federally mandated Hazard Mitigation Plans and Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Plans. Mr. Doneit provides consulting services to developers assisting on land planning, zoning, environmental compliance, development strategy, and project entitlements – these services include the preparation of environmental impact statements. He has directed and managed many projects including those for office, commercial, industrial and residential complexes. Mr. Doneit is also responsible for planning retainer work for numerous communities as well as the implementation and management of GIS services to municipal and private clients.

Mr. Doneit is a member of the American Planning Association and the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and serves in the leadership function for the Westchester/Fairfield District Council.
