Our Team: Brian J. Miller, AICP, PP
Mr. Miller is a Managing Principal and Senior Vice President of the Turner Miller Group. Mr. Miller has more than 33 years of professional planning experience and holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany and a Masters of Urban Planning from the University of Illinois. In addition, Mr. Miller maintains a professional certification with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and a Professional Planner (PP) license through the State of New Jersey.
Prior to joining the Turner Miller Group, Mr. Miller was the Principal for the planning firm, Eastern Land Use Analysis, which provided land use planning services to the private sector and government agencies throughout Connecticut. He was former Director of Development Services for the Town of Berlin, Connecticut. His professional work has included comprehensive planning, zoning and subdivision regulations, economic development studies and direct municipal assistance to five Connecticut municipalities, serving as the staff planner. He served on the Governor’s Blue Ribbon Task Force to study Affordable Housing, and is currently Chairman of the Cheshire, CT, Economic Development Commission.
