Turner Miller Group, lead by Brian Miller, assisted the Town of Stafford in addressing their commercial and economic development issues. The community was being confronted with commercial development pressures and lacked the tools to assess the best use of their limited available and to encourage redevelopment. TMG assisted the Town by preparing an update to its commercial land use development policies and regulations consistent with the Town's overall goals and objectives.

Development in Stafford is defined by well established community centers, a limited utility service area, established road system and challenging topography. It was important to understand the land resources that were available for economic growth and development. An inventory was prepared of properties consisting of two acres or more with commercial or industrial development potential.  Several properties with the greatest development potential were identified, with recommendations for best use. Underdeveloped properties with potential for redevelopment were also identifed.
